Ladakh is quite famous for its breathtaking views and is a top choice among tourists. Hanle is also quite popular among tourists as a historic village in the Indian Ladakh. You can visit Ladakh with Hanle tour packages and see the amazing beauty of Ladakh with The Destiny Calls.

An early morning arrival at Leh airport where you will be greeted by our company representative and transferred directly to your Leh based accommodation. After check-in spend a full day taking rest and adapting to the high altitude of Leh (3500 metres.). Enjoy the surrounding mountain views. Dinner and overnight stay in your preferred Leh based.

Wake as per your leisure and today you can enjoy an easy drive through the popular Sham Valley which is west of Leh. Your first stop will be at the Sangam intersection - which is the meeting point of the Zangskar and Indus rivers. This makes for a great photo opportunity and you may be lucky enough to see some of the water rafting tourists enjoying a paddle down either one of the rivers. Next, follow the highway towards Srinagar and you can stop at the mysterious Magnetic Hill where you can experience reverse gravity in action as your vehicle appears to move without power. Continue through the ancient Basgo village and then take a detour into the beautiful Alchi village. Once in Alchi, you can visit the resident monastery (famous for its unique Kashmiri influenced architecture) and then make your way back towards Leh with another small detour to Likir to see the giant Buddha statue. Pass through the famous ‘moonland territory’ - so called because of the surrounding craters on the nearby rocks that are said to resemble the moon and arrive to our overnight destination of Lamayuru - which some people say looks like it's straight out of a fairytale! Following your return to Leh, you will have free time to rest, or peruse the market. Leh based accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Leh - Disket - Hunder - Sumoor
Depart Leh after breakfast and head towards ‘Nubra Valley’ - popularly known as the ‘valley of flowers’ because of the variety of wildflowers and medicinal plants grown all over the local area. Situated in the northern part of Ladakh (between the Karakoram and Ladakh Himalayan ranges), the journey between Leh and Nubra takes you over ‘Khardungla-pass’ which is the world’s highest motor-able road (located 18390 feet above sea level). On arrival in the Valley, you will visit the Disket monastery where you can see the 100-foot tall Buddha statue and then those who wish to enjoy an optional camel safari on double humped camels can climb aboard a double-humped camel in Hunder for a ride around the cold desert sand dunes. Arrive to Nubra Valley accommodation in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning after breakfast proceeds for a visit to Turtuk, the last major settlement and the northernmost village in Ladakh, was thrown open to tourism as recently as 2010. Before that, the scenic Turtuk village was kept closed by the Indian government to outsiders as well as Indian tourists. Turtuk was annexed by Pakistan after the British rule ended in 1947 but was reclaimed by India in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war when the province of Baltistan was divided between the two countries. The village, on the banks of Shayok River, is only 12 km far from the Pakistan border.

Turtuk, a predominantly Muslim province, was once an important gateway to the Silk Route. Turtuk is situated at an altitude of 2,800m which is significantly lower than other parts of Ladakh. As the conditions are ideal for growing vegetables and fruits, Turtuk is famous for its apricots and walnuts. Arrive back to Nubra Valley accommodation in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Drive to Tso Moriri Lake. It is a breath-taking journey on a trail that is literally a ‘no mans’ land. Vast lonely stretches on the Chanthang plateau makes this drive one of the best isolated drives of this tour. Enroute visit the faraway settlement of Chusul. Tso Moriri is situated at an altitude of 4511m above sea level; with an area of about 140 Sq.km. Spend your evening watching shadows of the surrounding mountain and the varying depths of Tso Moriri lake. Stay in tented cottages at Tso Moriri.

After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Arrive at hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast visit Leh Palace, Tsemo Hill, Stok palace and Shanti Stupa.  The sun begins to set; our driver will take you to the nearby Shanti Stupa so you can watch the evening lights come to life over the town before returning you to your Leh based accommodation for overnight stay. After the sightseeing the car will drop you at the Leh market for your last-minute shopping. Walk back to the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
